A small battery is fine if you’re not running 5G. The iPhone SE 3 is a small phone and, by proxy, it has a small battery. If camera performance is important to you, go with the iPhone 12 over the iPhone SE 3. This makes the fact that the iPhone SE 3 uses a newer chip a moot point, in my opinion. From its design to its battery life and camera, the iPhone 12 offers more, costs the same, and looks better. The iPhone 12 is a better phone in almost every conceivable way. I would take an iPhone 12 over the iPhone SE 3 every day of the week and twice on a Sunday. But that’s about as good as it gets with this phone. Everything is consistent, even during the night, selfies are natural and high quality and videos are just the best you can find.The iPhone SE 3 is newer and it runs Apple’s latest chip, the A15. Even though I was not really surprised at first by them, the more I use them, the more I appreciate having this device. Lastly, I want to briefly talk about the cameras. The only thing I dislike is the slow charging compared to other flagships on the market, but I usually charge my device at night so it doesn't really bother me that much. The battery life on this phone has really impressed me, I can get 7h of the screen on time on a daily basis, which is more than I expected for this tiny battery. It's also extremely efficient so there are no heating or battery issues.
Social media scrolling, editing pictures, and heavy gaming are easily handled by the A15 Bionic chip. The performance is out of this world, no other phone even comes close to it.
The screen also offers one of the best quality you can find in the market, I just wish it was a bit brighter for outdoor use. The glass front and back combined with the stainless steel just make up for an amazing design. Starting with the design, I can say that this is one of the best-built smartphones I've ever seen. After 6 months of daily use with this phone, I want to share my experience with it.
